Aimed at high-end travellers looking to escape the chaotic pace of modern life, the Prince Akatoki brand helps guests discover a sanctuary within; a place to slow down, relax and get lost in in the moment.

Every touchpoint embodies mindfulness and relaxation and tranquillity. So it needed a voice that did the same.

The Akatoki voice is elegant, mindful and minimally simple. It’s writing that has room to breathe. And it embodies sophistication and style, without wasting a word.

We also collaborated with two haiku masters to create matching poems, in English and Japanese. These poems are a unique representation of not only a fusion between the cultures of east and west, but the way language is a unique tool to capture our brand idea—poetry at dawn.
